I am very happy with the physical therapy, the staff and the facilities. The large swim tub could hold 6-8 people but usually I am in there alone and it’s great to do my exercises and stretches in warm water. The facility is not to big to get lost in and yet large enough to get the physical therapy one might need. I initially went after joint replacement in my thumbs in 2008 after treatment I went back to work. I next trip to Select Care was in 2011 following a major back surgery (2 new discs and fusion), Within 60 days Joe and his staff had me nearly pain free so when treatment ended I began working on an old sailboat to convert into a houseboat which required plenty of lifting, bending, twisting and climbing but I did it. A few months later I was living on the boat while traveling on the ICW in Alabama. My next referral to Select Care was in spring of 2017 after shoulder surgery and again their team got me back in shape and pain free so I went backpacking in India for 8 weeks that summer. OK now I am back again (March 2019) to build my strength, stamina and flexibility after a 6 month bout with a disabling rheumatoid arthritis inflammation flare-up. I appreciate the work they do and the concern the staff has for my health.
