I could not be more displeased with the service from this branch. First they delivered an expensive pillow and left it by the road last Saturday. Then Tuesday they left an expensive rod by the road in a cardboard shipping tube that I reuse for traveling. After sitting out in the rain for 9 hours the tube is unusable now. I called Wednesday morning to complain as I have done several times over the years. Several months ago they left a rod by the road in a paper container and it blew out into the middle of the road. After calling Wednesday they assure me that it would be corrected they left a pair of shoes in the same place on Thursday. Another call that day and again assurance it would not happen again we pulled out of the driveway headed for the airport on Friday to see a $300+ de-humidifier sitting again by the road. A call from the airport again got more assurance that it would not happen again. Today after arriving in Costa Rica a neighbor called to let us know that a big box was sitting down by the road. It weighed 67 lbs and we have an elderly woman housesitting our home. She did manage to maneuver into a vehicle and get it to the house but should not have had to. She sent photos and said the box says fragile but appears to have been dropped. Our driveway is 220' long and Fedex is paid to deliver packages to the home, not set them on the road where anyone riving by can pick them up. This has happened to us several times until the post office put a parcel box by our mailboxes. Fedex can't use those and refuses to put a small package in our oversized mailbox. It takes an extra 30 seconds to drive to our home but our carrier is too lazy to do that. UPS does it every time. USPS does it if a package is too big for the parcel box instead of calling us to the post office. Fedex refuses to do their job. I will call again when I return back to the States but will try to talk to someone that will actually take care of the problem. If I can find a way to refuse their shipments I will do so. Better to have them send them back than me have them stolen or broken.
