Colorado Custom Cylinder Heads was highly recommended to me when I was looking for a place to build my 351w engine. I discussed my needs with Gary, the owner, and we agreed on an estimated cost for building the engine. After a couple of weeks, Gary informed me the engine was complete and ready to go. They also agreed to deliver it to me in Aurora as I had no way to pick it up. This engine was built for a 1970 Falcon ground up build that has taken almost 12 years to complete. Finally,the time came to start the engine, and finish up the build. A couple of the water pump bolts were found to be loose, so I checked all of them for for proper torque and found one of the bolts stripped, and rather than fixing it properly, they just stuck it back in the hole with some silicone sealer on it. I was surprised at the poor quality of workmanship and when I tried to contact Gary about it, he wouldn't return my calls. I am posting this in hopes of saving someone else the grief of dealing with this questionable operation. Very dissatisfied and would never do business with them again.
