On April 6, I hydroplaned during a storm near Giddings, Texas and ended up in a ditch. I had called AAA but the police said they wouldn't let me wait for them and called a local tow truck company named Tillery Wrecker Services. They came out and towed my car 8 miles to their shop. A few hours later, AAA showed up to take my vehicle to another city, and Tillery said I had to pay $1,071 in cash before they would let AAA take my car. When I called on April 7 to ask the manager if he knew about this excessive charge and asked if he can explain why I was charged this much, he said he knew about it and that's the price they charged and hung up on me.
