If I could give this company 0 stars I would have. I spent 5k through homedepot to purchase a mower and they used this company to ship the mower. Mower arrived at their Columbus facility on April 11th. I called customer service on the 12th to see if I needed to make an appointment to have the shipment delivered while i would be home. Was told you will receive a phone call today or tomorrow. Never received a phone call. I called back on that Thursday and was able to be transferred to the terminal in Columbus and scheduled a delivery for Friday and was told it would be delivered by noon. That didn't' happen, 12:30 comes and goes. I called customer service again and was told the scheduling manager while be contacting you within the hour to make sure that you will be there for delivery. I said that I would be home and I asked why it wasn't delivered when it was scheduled to be delivered and was told they ran out of room on the truck (how is that my issue when they are the ones who scheduled the delivery. 4pm comes and I still haven't heard from the scheduling manager the facility closes at 5. So, I called customer service again and this time they put me through to the scheduling manger and he tells me man I'm sorry, but we are going to deliver your item. I asked why not, then i was told because you would just send it right back to us on the truck, the item is completely destroyed. What they heck happened from Monday to Friday that it was completely destroyed. Mind you I waited 2.5 weeks for this item. I was told you will have to contact our customer service and file a claim. How am I supposed to file a claim when I haven't even seen the item to take pictures of the damage. Get through to the claim department and it automated and tells me to fill out a form and mail it in. At this point I'm furious, I was able to call Homedeopt and get everything sorted out through them and got a full refund. Two weeks go by and I'm in my backyard working and my doorbell rings... here is Central Transport delivering the zero-turn mower that is completely destroyed. I had to go through homedopt again to get this delivery which should have never been delivered after I was told it was destroyed and not being delivered picked up by another company that homedepot uses. This company should be ashamed of how they do business and at this point they need to close their doors and call it quits. I've never seen an incompetent company as bad as Central Transport.
