They pulled a truck out of the mud at a building site across from my house. The driver (the owner apparently) thought it would be a good idea to park his truck on my concrete driveway. This was not a regular wrecker. This was a BIG truck. Big enough to drag another big truck out of the mud. My husband ran out and told him he had to move because the driveway was just poured a couple weeks before. The driver moves, looks at the driveway, goes back to work and leaves. A little later I go down and look. Its cracked. I call and tell the woman in the office what happened. Long story short: I am a liar, the driveway is old and was already cracked, no one ever came out to ask him to move (I must have hallucinated everything I guess…). The owner of the building site across the street even called them twice (I didn’t ask him to) to let them know the driveway was new and they should make good on it. Not only have they not made good on it but they haven’t returned my call or even apologized for the damage they caused to my brand new driveway. I mean, who drives a rig like that on a residential concrete driveway, new or old?? Now, imagine he picks up your car or truck and damages it. Think you’ll have a better experience? Don’t take that chance.
