My girlfriend booked this as a 3 night girl's stay several months ago. We were scheduled for a September, 2019 stay. After reading several reviews my friend contacted the owners about the negative reviews we had read. The owner assured us that the negative reviews were from disgruntled renters asking for money not to post the reviews. They assured us all would be good. We arrived to a filthy unsanitary house. The dining table was sticky with some substance and crumb laden. The refrigerator and microwave were filled with food splatters and we found dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinets. Bathrooms had mildew around the tubs/shower and sinks and bath tubs unclean. According to the contract we had to make our own beds...however the mattress covers were dirty with fresh looking body fluid stains and dirt. We sent a message to the owner about these items with no response. The house in general has a musty smell which intensified when we had to turn on the heat. Two of us ended up being congested from the smell so off the heat went. There are so many things wrong with this location inside and out that I could spend a week describing it. It is obvious that the owner doesn't care what anyone has to say and makes no effort in changing what's wrong. It was a bad enough stay for us as adults but had we had children I'm not sure what we would have done. The bottom line is DO NOT RENT THIS LOCATION!!! PS I'm not looking for any money not to post this review!
