The owner was quite friendly the first day I spoke with her and I was quite excited I had actually found a nice person that was not a scam. She asked to call me back as she had things to do and we visited for 15 minutes and I told her I would call her back either that early evening or the next day. I chose to the next day. We talked a few minutes and I mentioned I do DNA Health tests on my dogs and she instantly got defensive and hostile with me. Telling me that doing a DNA test on my dog was a waste of my time and money and if I was going to DNA a dog I got from her she was refusing to sell me one. Her ad specifically states her males are AKC but her females are not but are purebred. I am OK with that even registered dogs I do DNA HEALTH test on my dogs. I don't do the test for the DNA but for the health of the dog but hey why not make sure? I asked if I were to purchase one and it wasn't sufficient enough Maltese if she would be willing to buy the dog back and she said absolutely not that she was not risking her reputation over a DNA test that is most likely wrong. For the record I am not against doing a 2nd DNA test to double check results if needed. I am giving her a 2 star rating due to the fact she was at least honest with me by not allowing me to buy one of her pretend Maltese. Her words were if it looks like a Maltese then it is a Maltese and she buys it. She doesn't know if her Maltese are pure or not. She says she's been doing this since 1986 but if so why isn't there reviews? I would not and do not recommend buying any dog from her as you may not be getting what you think you are purchasing from her.
