Too bad I can't rate 0 stars. When I was car shopping, I told Dave at Draeger that I drive 500 highway miles a week for work, and just needed something reliable. I picked out an Equinox I liked and took it home. A few days later the check engine light came on, when I took it to my garage they said it was down 2 quarts of oil and they wanted to look at it further, they then determined that it was burning oil through the piston rings- apparently these cars had lots of recalls for this, but of course Dave didn't mention that. When I talked to him about it, he had me take it to a garage he used, where I was told the same thing. Both guys told me the car never should have been sold without having the piston rings replaced. His guy told me he hates these engines, my garage said the right thing for Draeger to do would be to replace the engine or trade me for a different vehicle because there is no way Draeger didn't know about these issues. Dave said he had no idea but he would help, then came up with excuses for 4 weeks, even after saying they would figure out a different deal. He finally told me I should sell the car on Facebook Marketplace so I could come in and buy something else. I told him that was shady, passing on a car to someone else that I knew was defective, and I wasn't willing to do so. I replaced the O2 sensor, check engine light came on again the very next day for the catalytic converter. Long story short, I'm stuck with a car that never should have been resold, and I'm tired of listening to Dave tell me he wants to make it work out. He's a salesman through and through, and he will sell you a lemon and smile as he’s cashing your check. I cannot stress this strongly enough- stay away from Draeger!
