DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! THEY ARE DISHONEST! We bought a car for $7,000 at Steve's Auto Sales in Cambridge MN a week ago. We put the card on our credit card as we wanted the miles and would pay it in full within a week. The next day we drove it 60 miles on the freeway and suddenly warning lights came on for battery, radiator and other key car features. Within moments the car was dying. We managed to get the car in "limp" mode and drove it on the freeway shoulder at 40 miles per hour for 60 miles to get home. Once we got home we called Steve's Auto Sales and told them what had happened. They suggested that we drive the car over to them in Cambridge which is 40+ miles away. We told them the car couldn't be started plus in this time it got a flat tire while sitting in our driveway! They sent a tow truck and took posession of the car, assuring us they would back out the charge immediately. Its been a week and still they haven't reversed the charge, but claiming everyday when we call that they have reversed the charge and its just the credit card company who is screwing up. At least we can dispute the charge but it would be easier if they just reverse it.I was pleased with the way the staff treated me and the quality of the product. The staff acted exactly as I would expect them to in this type of business. My order was filled a little ahead of the schedule--a nice surprise! Their pricing schedule is competitive and fair for what they're offering. This business tried hard to make it's location convenient, and succeeded for the most part.
